These are the things that move me, inspire me, and shape my worldview.

ABOUT ME

I am a student of Consciousness-Based Education and Literature at the Maharishi University of Management. My passion is in teaching people of other cultures my native language, English. I strive to create strong, integrative curriculi utilizing Consciousness-Based Education to nurture the utmost creative potential in my students.

Throughout my education I've worked hard at developing myself as a strong leader, as well as a global citizen. I've volunteered in my community to help benefit the students of local school districts, I've served on the Student Government of my University, and I've gained experience teaching Elementary School Students in the classroom.

I learn, I teach, and I draw connections that benefit the students individual capabilities and my own within the classroom setting. Utilizing outcome-oriented curriculum planning, I aim to create lessons in English that are pragmatic in their utility, flexible in structure, and dynamic in terms of feedback and assessment.

English and Literature I love words! English is my native language, and I've always loved to speak. This eventually became a passion that I wanted to share with others, and so here I am. Teaching English in Other Cultures I want to see the world, share my language, and embrace a truly unified global culture develop within myself and my students. This Summer I hope to attend a Culture Camp where I'll get to teach English in Beijing.
Transcendental Meditation I practice the Transcendental Meditation technique twice daily, for 20 minutes each time, to refresh and energize my body and mind, and improve my own cognitive ability.
Consciousness Based Education Consciousness Based Education allows for students to understand all subjects on a common ground; that is, the home of all knowledge, pure consciousness.
Social and Cognitive Science "Humanity is a constantly shifting paradigm" Cognitive and Social Science is an increasingly important field, which has the potential to shape the way that humans live and interact on a large scale. As this field grows, I'll be drawing connections to the field of education, especially in language.
Soil Science and Soil Biology I'm a strong advocate for Soil Science, and the potential that Soil Ecology has for improving sustainable agriculture around the world. I've studied under the soil biology expert Dr. Elaine Ingham, and have gained tremendous insight into our worlds precious dirt.
